The Moroccan shore extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean, where the Sahara Desert meets the sea. 

All along the shore, traces of the Lusitanian occupation witness the struggle to ensure the rule of the commercial routes between the South and Europe. Ancient castles and walled towns can the seen, where today cities rise, or protected ruins, some more than others, in strategic locations of the shore.
